Mike Ritland (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the MikeRitland.com website (the “Service”).
This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information when you use our Service.
Personally Identifiable Information
While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you, to carry out the functions of the website, and to process the financial transactions of the website if you make a purchase on the Service. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to, your email address, name, phone number, postal address, personal account preferences; transactional data, such as purchase information; and technical data, such as information about cookies (“Personally Identifiable Information”). We collect this Personally Identifiable Information for the purpose of providing the Service, identifying and communicating with you, responding to your requests/inquiries, servicing your purchase orders, and improving our services.
If you choose to allow a website to collect your location data, such location data may be available to the applicable Client. In addition, if you have an account with Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, Foursquare or other similar websites (each a “Social Network”), your Social Network identity, including your public picture, may be associated with your location data. If you send a “Do Not Track” request through your web browser, we may still collect and use your browsing data to improve security, to provide our Service and to generate reporting statistics, but in general we will not track other websites that you may have visited.
If you have an account on this Service, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, transactional, legal, or security purposes.
Credit card transactions for this Service are processed using Stripe.com, a secure third party payment processing company. When using your credit card to purchase our product, you may be redirected to their secure third party gateway in the form of an iframe popup. The information you provide for payment will be stored on their secure servers. We do not store any payment information on our servers for your protection.
We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. In addition, we may use third party services, such as Google Analytics, that collect, monitor and analyze this type of information in order to increase our Service’s functionality. These third party service providers have their own privacy policies addressing how they use such information. When possible, tracking data will be anonymized.
If you leave a comment on our Service you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have a membership account and you log in to the Service, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks or less as determined by the Service security. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
When you leave comments on the Service, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also your IP address and browser user agent string to assist in spam detection. You can read Askimet’s information regarding their policies here or below each comment form.
As part of offering the Service, you may purchase a membership. Portions of this membership allow you to upload media files as part of your public membership profile. This includes media uploaded as profile images and media uploaded to forums in your posts.
Embedded Content from Other Websites
Articles, courses, and other content on this Service may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, Podcasts, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
The Service is not making use of these messages or data other than to follow up on users’ registered issues or inquiries. Your personal data will be processed and transmitted in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
