Working/training with you has changed my life. Ike is unconditional love. Thank you Mike Ritland for all that you do! ❤️?❤️
The chapter on building trust was big for me. Having always had pups the trust just seem to come natural since I was feeding and watering the dog. Now having gotten an older dog, i realized I took for granted how easy the bond and trust came with pups. Going back and reading the chapter on trust building made me realize that I needed to have better control of myself to get him to respond and look to me for guidance. Thanks Mike!
Not sure what we are gonna in the future. But right now we are just rebuilding his obedience foundation and working on some bite work.
Cheers from Kentucky!!!
From gentle leader and still pulling and fighting you on a walk to guide dog harness walking with my blind dad. Team Dog reminded me to bring my leadership qualities from the office to home. Keely is a confident and gentle companion to my dad. She adores him and instinctively goes at his pace.
The “One Team, One Fight” motto rang true to me, knowing I can trust my dog and my dog can trust me… never breaking that bond. In the book, when you talk about being the pack leader and how to carry yourself around your dog, this is is dead on. I also agree when you talk about marker or ” clicker training.” It really is the best way to train your dog. I would highly recommend this book for anyone that wants to build a bond and have the best relationship with their dog possible.
Great job, Mr Ritland.
